Who may claim
A listing may be claimed only by someone authorized to act for the facility it describes. Claiming from an email address at the facility's own website is approved right away. Any other claim is confirmed by phone first: we call the facility at the number on its public record and ask for the person who claimed. We may decline a claim, ask for more, or revoke one later if it turns out to be wrong.
What a claim gives you
A claimed listing shows the facility's phone number, and the facility can add a description and hours and correct the phone number and website. Every change is dated and shown as the facility's own. The public record is kept and can be restored at any time.
What you agree to
What you enter is accurate and current, describes only the facility named, and makes no promises about outcomes. You will not enter a phone number that is not the facility's own, a number that tracks or routes calls for a third party, or a link that sends visitors to a referral or lead service. You will not describe medical services the facility is not licensed to provide. A Google rating you report is the one Google shows for the facility on the day you report it, with the link to that listing. A testimonial you enter is genuine, comes from a real person who is not on your staff, is published with that person's written permission, names them by first name and last initial at most, and promises no result. Photos you upload are ones the facility has the right to use, show the facility itself, and show no patients. You may remove what you entered at any time.
What we promise
Claiming is free and stays free. We never charge for a call, a message, a lead, or an admission, and we never report calls or leads to anyone. We do not sell visitor information. If a facility later pays for a featured listing, that is a flat monthly fee for placement, always labeled Sponsored, and it never changes what a free claimed listing gets.
Our part of the record
We refresh the public record every week. If the record changes, your edits stay on top of it. If the facility leaves the public record, a claimed listing keeps its page. If a facility closes or loses its license, we may take the page down.
Ending a claim
Write to listings@addictiontreatmentcenters.com from the address you claimed with, and we release the listing. We may revoke a claim if we cannot confirm it, if what was entered is wrong, or if the terms above are broken.
