Addiction Treatment Centers

A directory, not a referral service

Every facility in the public record has a page here whether or not it pays us. Here is how the site works and what we will never do.

Where the listings come from

The directory is built from federal and state public records of licensed treatment facilities and refreshed every week. Each listing shows what the facility itself reported: the kinds of care, the settings, the medications it uses, whom it serves, and what it accepts for payment. We do not rate facilities, and we do not decide who appears. If a facility is licensed and in the public record, it has a page.

Details can lag. A facility may add a program, stop taking an insurer, or close between refreshes. Call before you go, and treat every listing as a starting point rather than a promise.

Why some listings have no phone number

An unclaimed listing shows the facility's address and website but not a phone number. Once a facility claims its listing, its own number appears, and calls go straight to the facility. We never route calls, never operate a helpline, and never sell anyone's information. If you allow it, we count page visits to learn which pages help; we never see who you are or what you searched for.

For facilities

Claiming a listing is free. A claimed listing shows the facility's phone number and lets staff keep the details current: a description, hours, and corrections to the phone and website on the public record. A claim from an email address at the facility's own website is approved right away. For any other address we confirm by phone: we call the facility at the number on its public record and ask for the person who claimed. The listing terms say the rest.

A facility can also pay a flat monthly fee for a featured listing, which places it above the alphabetical list on its city page, or on its state page too, and is always labeled Sponsored. The fee is published, the same for every facility, and the same whether one person or a thousand see the listing. A Google rating or a testimonial on a listing is entered by the facility itself, and we check it before it shows. We never charge per call, per message, per lead, or per admission, and we never will.

Something wrong with a listing?

The fastest fix is for the facility to claim its listing and correct it. Otherwise, listings follow the public record, which each facility can update with its state licensing agency. Every facility page also carries a link to report a problem.
